Project-Finishing Pact

It has come to my attention recently that a great many of the people I know are drowning in unfinished projects. Often, these projects are 95% done, and taking up space all over the house.

I am no exception to this.

I'm going to commit to finishing my Ballet Camisole (in green), which is really really close to done. I need to do about 2 more inches of knitting on the straps, sew the shoulders together, weave in yarn ends, crochet the edging). Then, I will wear it before the weather turns too cold to do so.

Are you in? Will you commit to finish an unfinished project with me? Just one project.

I am going to finish this camisole by the end of the month. What will you finish by then? oaktavia thinks that posting pictures at completion is a necessary part of this process. Posts about your progress between now & then are encouraged.

I think those are fine projects to commit to...but I'd suggest breaking the job thing down into measurable steps, like "I'll send out N resumes."

*smile* well, i'll post my progress on those things as it goes.

best i've got right now is "poking at UC Berkeley Extension about classes for two hours the other day, until i fell apart and couldn't deal anymore." but it was something, and i did end up writing email to the MIT career-office person who's been helping me with med school stuff.

i've definitely got my home-sick-procrastinating hat on this afternoon, though. i started looking up what it'd take to make a slipcover for my wingback armchair. it's do-able, but not something i should start anytime soon.
