Apparently one cannot have an evening gown altered unless one brings in the shoes that one intends to wear with it.

Except one doesn't yet own the shoes, because one has very wide feet, which makes shoe shopping a special sort of hell.

And here I was, thinking I was clever for bringing in the intended undergarments.

This is the part where I get gripey at all of the boys, who get to simply go out and rent a tux.

I can commiserate with you. I think we need to head to the Famous Footwear (or whatever it's called) at the toxic waste dump.

Alas, I had to order my undergarments to work with my dress.

I hereby charge pierceheart with giving us all a reason to dress up when he returns. *bweg*

Or, perhaps, a formal welcome home party. Yeah. That might be nice.
