I need remedial girl lessons

Apparently one cannot have an evening gown altered unless one brings in the shoes that one intends to wear with it.

Except one doesn't yet own the shoes, because one has very wide feet, which makes shoe shopping a special sort of hell.

And here I was, thinking I was clever for bringing in the intended undergarments.

This is the part where I get gripey at all of the boys, who get to simply go out and rent a tux.

well... I guess you could just aim for having the dress land at your ankles... Then it doesn't matter how tall the heels are...
I guess I find all the dress up nonsense sort of stupid... why do men get it so easy anyway?
