The cat managed to unfasten the stitch holder from my partially completed knitted Cables and Lace Cardigan, remove the holder from the 26 stitches it had been holding, and bat it across the room. Thankfully, the stitches hadn't begun to unravel when I caught her and remedied the situation. But damn.

On the plus side, said cardigan is progressing nicely, and the body is nearly done. I should go to Woolcott tomorrow and get size 7 DPNs, so that I can knit the sleeves in the round rather than flat. I've decided that I hate seams.

Oooo, pretty. Will we be able to see it in Philly?I remember the sexy knit top you were working on at the FG. You should bring that one, too. I am very impressed by your ability to make yourself hot clothes. I have no such skill, although I wish I could.

If I continue at the current rate, or anything near it, it should be done before I see you in Philly.

The sexy knit top I was working on at FG is done except for weaving in the yarn ends (the part I hate most!), but since it's sleeveless, there hasn't been much opportunity to wear it in recent months. I told myself that if I finished this cardigan, I can wear the tank, and the cardigan over it. If I'm lucky, I will succeed in this task before the weather is actually warm again. :-)

I'd also be happy to teach you to knit, if you're interested. It's not all that difficult.
