a New Mexico moment

While driving to work this morning, I had to slow down, because a woman was carrying a very large tumbleweed across the street. It was perhaps 3 feet in diameter.

Why exactly she felt a need to carry it across the street is beyond me, but she seemed prepared for the task, because she was wearing heavy leather gloves.
